When it comes to household pests such as cockroaches, ants, mice, fleas, etc., they can become more than displeasing; they can be a threat to your property and potentially your health. That's why pest control is so important for your home. Occasionally you may find one or two pests in your home or business, but when you discover your home or business maybe the location of an invasion it is imperative that you schedule monthly or quarterly pest control service to permanently eliminate the pests. Our staff will initially treat both the inside and outside of your home or business to create a protective barrier against the pest or rodents and the type of property you own will determine whether your property needs to be treated monthly or quarterly. O’Shea’s Pest Management also recommends that you continue to have ongoing inspections for termites and pest control because signs of a termite infestation are often times hard to spot and some termites even tunnel hundreds of feet to reach a home or feeding site.

Specific Pest Control Treatment

O’Shea’s Pest Management will create a specific treatment plan for your home or business
based of the level of your infestation:Termites, Bees, Spiders, Roaches, Ants, Wasps, Fleas, Raccoons, Mice, Squirrels, Pest Management Services

There are several different treatment methods:

Termites

Liquid Treatments:

  1. Liquid treatments help discourage termite’s immediately plus offer protection from future infestations.
  2. Liquid wood treatments can be injected directly into active termite infestations.
  3. Liquid treatments can be applied on the inside, outside and within the home’s foundation, providing a protective area around the home.

Bait & Monitoring:

  1. Monitoring stations are placed in strategic at-risk locations around your home to determine termite activity.
  2. Once termite activity is detected, the monitoring station is replaced with the bait device. Termites then ingest the bait and share it with other termites, helping to establish colony control.
General Pests
  1. Spray treatments help discourage pests immediately plus offer protection from future infestations.
  2. Baiting methods can also be used for control of some common pests.

Rodents

Mice & Rats:

  1. A thorough inspection of the interior and exterior of the property will be done to locate any and all enter points rodents might use, or be using, to enter your home or property. If it is determined that the invaders are mice or rats, these entry areas will then be sealed to keep them out, and traps set to catch any that might have been caught inside. We do not recommend the use of poisons in this situation, as you can never predict where an animal might expire. If it is inside of a wall or some other unreachable area, this becomes a new problem.

Squirrels, Opossum, Raccoons, etc.:

  1. If it is determined that squirrels, opossum, or raccoons, are the culprits, sealing of the entry can, in some cases, solve the problem, but often we use a one way door. This allows the animals to get out, but not back in. After time has been given to be sure they have gone, we remove the door, and seal up this entry point.
